Welcome to the Cairns Old Crocs
The Cairns Old Crocs are a team of 'over - 35' rugby players who have finally woken up to the fact that their bodies should not be subjected to the punishment of grade rugby!![]()
With a strong family and social focus, the Old Crocs are the only official over - 35 rugby team in Cairns and each year the club holds a tournament which is attended by like clubs from near and far. In addition to some very good sponsorship in place, especially from the Cairns RSL, the Old Crocs work hard fundraising to support Cairns and District junior rugby union. The Cairns Old Crocs are a member of Veterans Rugby Queensland.
When possible, the occasional tour away from Cairns provides the players and families with an opportunity to socialise with other rugby players and their fans. The club law of "Just Run It" (i.e. no kicking during the game) is indicative of the spirit of the club.
