Welcome to the Cairns Old Crocs
The Cairns Old Crocs are a team of 'over - 35' rugby players who have finally woken up to the fact that their bodies should not be subjected to the punishment of grade rugby!
With a strong family and social focus, the Old Crocs are the only official over - 35 rugby team in Cairns and each year the club holds a tournament which is attended by like clubs from near and far. In addition to some very good sponsorship in place, especially from the Cairns RSL, the Old Crocs work hard fundraising to support Cairns and District junior rugby union.
When possible, the occasional tour away from Cairns provides the players and families with an opportunity to socialise with other rugby players and their fans. The club law of "Just Run It" (i.e. no kicking during the game) is indicative of the spirit of the club.

The annual Old Crocs 0ver-35s Rugby Tournament - 09 September 2010
It's time to place your team's entry into our 2010 Tournament. We are planning to make this our biggest tournament ever, with teams from an even greater distance. For last year's tournament 8 teams participated - with players from a wide variety of nations including New Zealand, UK, Japan, Northern Territory, NSW and the rest from our great state, Queensland.
So, come on those of you in such far-flung spots as UK and Europe.....Why not combine the Tournament with a holiday in our beautiful tropical paradise?
